What's in the mobile app so far?
Today
What's actually in front of you — due today, quick wins, and space to plan tomorrow before you close the app.
Stay on Now
Time tracking that counts up so you can see how much you worked, Pomodoro if you want it to count down, and focused moments to remember to breathe.
The Progress Arc
Not a scoreboard. Progress witnesses your work — what's in motion, what you closed, the threads you're part of — without streaks, guilt, or a number to chase.
Not just a timer, a log of the work
Tracking time is never linear. For some of us, the work gets done in 5 minute increments. You should get credit for that work too.
- Open-ended count-up, or a set length if that helps
- Pause, resume, stop & log — an honest record
- Your time tracking syncs back to your work
Tasks & Notes
For the things you need to put down right now whether you’re at your computer or not.
- Capture what's on your mind while it's there
- Make updates as they happen
- Cross off the items from your list as they finish
*Notes feature is included on cloud accounts and available for self-hosted users with Notes plugin.
Frequently Asked Questions
A companion app for Leantime, the open-source project and work management platform. It’s built for personal, on-the-go work — checking your day, capturing tasks, taking quick notes, and tracking time — not for full project administration, which stays on the desktop.
Existing Leantime users who want their tasks and time tracking on their phone.
Whether you use Leantime Cloud or run your own self-hosted Leantime, this is for you.
It’s an open beta, so there’s one quick “join the test” step before you can install: On your Android phone — opens Google Play; tap Join / Become a tester, then Install: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.leantime.mobile
From a desktop/browser — tap “Become a tester,” then install on your phone: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/io.leantime.mobile
A couple of tips:
• You have to tap “Become a tester” / Join before the Install button shows up (can take a minute to kick in).
• Not seeing a Join option on the phone link? Open the desktop link in your phone’s browser instead — it always shows the “Become a tester” button.

No. Tap Try Demo Mode on the first screen to explore the whole app with sample data — no account, no sign-up, nothing to configure. To use it with your real work, you’ll sign in to your existing Leantime workspace.
The app itself is free to download and use. What it connects to depends on your setup:
Leantime Cloud: no extra cost — it works with your existing Cloud plan, including trials.
Self-hosted: the app connects through the AdvancedAuth plugin, a paid add-on from the Leantime marketplace. If your instance already uses it (for example, for single sign-on), you’re ready to go.
If not, an admin will need to add it. Our support page explains why.
Iphone & Android with upcoming follow up to tablet devices as well.
Tap the invite link, install Apple’s free TestFlight app if you don’t have it, then install Leantime Mobile through it. TestFlight builds expire after 90 days and update as we ship new versions.
